Greg Chiate brings over 30 years of investing experience to GC Capital. Since co-founding the firm in 2010, he has been instrumental in both active and passive investments. Notably, Greg served as the CEO of a medical distributor for six years and currently holds the position of Chairman of the Board for a water solutions company serving the energy sector.

Prior to establishing GC Capital, Greg was a partner at Behrman Capital, a private equity fund with $2 billion of committed capital. During his ten-year tenure at Behrman Capital, he successfully completed numerous transactions with enterprise values ranging from $5 million to $550 million across various industries, including Information Technology, Specialty Manufacturing, and Defense. His primary responsibilities included sourcing investment opportunities, executing acquisitions, and developing strategic plans for portfolio companies.

Greg graduated with Honors from the University of California, Berkeley, with a BA in Economics.
